Vliwazell® Pro is an absorbent compress that, thanks to its super-absorbent properties, is particularly suitable for treating moderately to very heavily exuding wounds.This compress can also be used under compression.It quickly absorbs exudate and distributes it evenly, reducing the risk of maceration of the wound and surrounding skin.The high absorption capacity enables longer dressing change intervals and therefore longer wound rest phases.Vliwazell® Pro also has a dimensionally stable core that remains dimensionally stable even when used vertically.The practical laundry protection prevents clothing and bed linen from getting wet.

Purpose

The Vliwazell® Pro absorbent compress is used for exudate management of acute and chronic wounds.

Indications

The compress is suitable for the care of acute and chronic, medium to very heavily exuding, superficial and deep wounds, including arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, post-traumatic wounds, post-operative secondary healing wounds, split-thickness skin donor sites, oncological wounds, ulcerating tumors, wounds at risk of infection, superficial second-degree burns and lymphatic wounds.It can also be used as a secondary dressing on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.

Vliwazell® Pro can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with a suitable wound filler, such as Suprasorb® Liquacel, Suprasorb® A or Suprasorb® A+Ag, to treat deep wounds.

Properties

The Vliwazell® Pro absorbent compress is characterized by a very strong suction power and a high absorption capacity, even under compression.It enables atraumatic dressing changes and has a high retention capacity.The stable shape retention increases patient comfort, and the compress can be easily modeled and fixed.The practical laundry protector protects clothing and bed linen from getting wet.
