Instructions for use of the article Vliwazell Pro absorbent dressing pad with superabsorber 10x10 cm Vliwazell Pro absorbent dressing pad with superabsorber is a sterile absorbent dressing pad with superabsorbent properties for the treatment of moderately to very heavily exuding wounds, even under compression. It has a very high absorbency and a high absorption capacity, even under compression. Dressing changes are atraumatic and the dressing offers high retention of wound exudate and bacteria. It is dimensionally stable and offers increased patient comfort. It also protects clothing and bed linen from soaking. The intended use of the Vliwazell Pro absorbent dressing pad is exudate management of acute and chronic wounds. Indications for the use of the absorbent dressing include arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, post-traumatic wounds, post-operative secondary healing wounds, split skin donor sites, oncological wounds, exuding tumours, wounds at risk of infection, superficial second degree burns, lymphatic wounds as well as laparotomy wounds and fistulas as secondary dressings. Vliwazell Pro can be used in combination with a suitable wound filler for the treatment of deep wounds. The absorbent dressing is made of viscose, polyamide, cellulose, polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, polyacrylate, polypropylene and hot melt adhesive.
