Vliwazell® Pro is an absorbent compress that has super-absorbent properties.It is particularly suitable for treating wounds that exude moderately to very heavily, even under compression.The rapid absorption and even distribution of the exudate reduces the risk of maceration of the wound and surrounding skin.The high absorption capacity enables longer dressing change intervals and therefore longer wound rest phases.Vliwazell® Pro also has a dimensionally stable core that remains dimensionally stable even when used vertically.The practical laundry protection prevents clothing and bed linen from getting wet.

Purpose

The Vliwazell® Pro absorbent compress is used for exudate management of acute and chronic wounds.

Indications

The absorbent compress is suitable for treating acute and chronic wounds that exude moderately to very heavily.This includes superficial and deep wounds in arterial and venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, post-traumatic wounds, post-operative secondary healing wounds, split-thickness skin donor sites, oncological wounds, ulcerating tumors, wounds at risk of infection, superficial second-degree burns and lymphatic wounds.It can also be used as a secondary dressing on laparotomy wounds and fistulas.

Vliwazell® Pro can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with a suitable wound filler to treat deep wounds.

The Vliwazell® Pro absorbent compress is characterized by a very strong suction power and a high absorption capacity, even under compression.It enables atraumatic dressing changes and has a high retention capacity.The stable dimensional stability increases patient comfort, and the easy modeling and fixation makes it easier to use.The practical laundry protection prevents clothing and bed linen from getting wet.
