Cefavit natal hard capsules are a dietary supplement that contains bioactive folic acid, iodine and other valuable vitamins and minerals.This product is available without a prescription.It is specially designed for daily use from the time you want to have children until the end of breastfeeding.

Use and Application

The recommended dosage is one capsule daily.This should be taken whole and with sufficient liquid, preferably water, on an empty stomach.

Composition and nutritional declaration

One hard capsule contains the following ingredients:

Folic acid: 400 µg (800 µg FE), thiamine (vitamin B1): 1.3 mg, riboflavin (vitamin B2): 1.4 mg, vitamin B6: 1.9 mg, vitamin B12: 4 µg, biotin (vitamin B7): 60 µg, pantothenic acid (vitamin B5): 6 mg, vitamin D: 20 µg, vitaminE: 13 mg alpha-TE, niacin (vitamin B3): 16 mg NE, iodine: 150 µg, selenium: 60 µg, zinc: 3 mg.

NRV stands for nutrient reference value according to LMIV.Folic acid and bioactive calcium L-methylfolate are contained in a 1:1 ratio. FE/TE/NE denote folate/alpha-tocopherol/niacin equivalents.

Ingredients

The ingredients include fillers such as microcrystalline cellulose and maltodextrin, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), zinc gluconate, nicotinamide, D-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, calcium D-pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, anti-caking agent rice extract, thiamine hydrochloride, riboflavin, calcium L-methylfolate, vegetable oil (sunflower oil), potassium iodate, pteroyl monoglutamic acid,Sodium Selenite, D-Biotin, Cholecalciferol, Cyanocobalamin and Methylcobalamin.

Mode of action

Supplementary folic acid intake increases folate levels in pregnant women.Low folate levels may be a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the growing fetus.The positive effect can occur with a supplementary intake of 400 µg folic acid daily for a period of at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

Folate supports maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.Zinc is important for normal DNA-synthesis, fertility and reproduction.Selenium and iodine contribute to normal thyroid function.Folate, vitamin B12, vitamin D and zinc are essential for cell division.Vitamin B2, vitamin E, selenium and zinc offer cell protection against oxidative stress.Folate, vitamin B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 help against tiredness and fatigue.Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B12 and iodine are important for normal energy metabolism.
