Instructions for use of BD Ultra-Fine Pen needles 5 mm 31 G: Thanks to the patented PentaPoint technology, the BD Ultra-Fine Pen needles are equipped with a tip that has a 5-fold cut. Compared to needles with a 3-fold cut, the needle tips are slimmer and flatter, allowing easier penetration into the skin. The needle surface has a fine silicone coating to ensure a gentler needle stick. The BD Ultra-Fine Pen needles are latex-free and pyrogen-free and fit all common pens for diabetes therapy. They are sterile, single-use products and should not be reused. The BD Ultra-Fine Pen needles 5 mm 31 G offer a comfortable insulin injection and differ from other injection needles due to their extra thin needle wall. They feature EasyFlow technology, which increases insulin flow. This allows for an easier and faster injection as less force is needed and the full dose is delivered faster.
