Ginkgo AbZ 120 mg film-coated tablets are a herbal medicinal product for improving age-related cognitive impairment and quality of life in mild dementia. The film-coated tablets contain a dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves. Before taking the tablets, allergic reactions to the extract or other ingredients, as well as pregnancy, should be avoided. People with an increased tendency to bleed, epilepsy or planned operations should consult a doctor before taking the tablets. Interactions with other medicines should also be considered. The recommended dose for adults is one film-coated tablet twice daily. Ginkgo AbZ 120 mg Film-Coated Tablets can be taken independently of meals and the duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks. Possible side effects include headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and allergic reactions. The medicine should be stored below 30 °C and kept out of reach of children.
