Each film-coated tablet contains 240 mg of quantified, refined dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves (35 - 67: 1), extractant: acetone 60% (m/m).The extract is quantified to contain 22.0 - 27.0% flavonoids, calculated as flavonol glycosides, 2.8 - 3.4% ginkgolides A, B and C, 2.6 - 3.2% bilobalide and contains a maximum of 5 ppm ginkgolic acids.

The other components are:

Tablet core: Croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.) [pflanzlich], microcrystalline cellulose, spray-dried glucose syrup.

Film coating: Macrogol 3350, poly(vinyl alcohol), talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O (E 172).

Area of application

Contraindications

Dosage

Ginkgo AbZ 240 mg film-coated tablets contains a dry extract from Ginkgo biloba leaves.Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you.The recommended dose for adults is half a film-coated tablet twice daily, equivalent to 240 mg of ginkgo dry extract daily.It should be taken twice daily in the morning and afternoon.The tablet can be divided into equal doses and can be taken with liquid, regardless of meals.The duration of treatment should be at least eight weeks.

If you take more Ginkgo AbZ 240 mg film-coated tablets than you should, contact your doctor or seek medical advice.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.Wait until your next dose and then continue as usual.

Intake
