Description of the drug

This herbal medicine contains a dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves.It is used to improve quality of life and to support age-related cognitive impairments and mild dementia.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The main active ingredient is ginkgo leaf dry extract in an amount of 40 mg per film-coated tablet.The extract is made with acetone 60% (m/m) and contains various active ingredients such as bilobalide, ginkgo flavonoid glycosides, ginkgolide A+B+C and ginkgolic acids.In addition, the preparation contains various excipients, including microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium salt, iron (III) hydroxide oxide x-water, spray-dried glucose syrup, lactose 1-water, macrogol 3350, magnesium stearate (vegetable), poly(vinyl alcohol), colloidal silicon dioxide, talc, titanium dioxide and sodium ions.

Contraindications

The product must not be taken if you are allergic to Ginkgo biloba extract or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The medicine should also not be used during pregnancy.

Dosage and application

Always take this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose for adults is 3 film-coated tablets twice a day, which corresponds to a total of 240 mg ginkgo dry extract per day.It should be taken in the morning and afternoon.The tablets should be swallowed whole with liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water.It can be taken regardless of meals.

The duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks.If there is no improvement in symptoms after 3 months or if the symptoms of the disease worsen, the doctor should consider continuing treatment.There are no known cases of overdose.If you have taken a large overdose, contact your doctor or seek medical advice.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose, but wait until your next dose and then continue as usual.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
