Information for use of the article Cellacast Xtra Bandage 10 cm x 3,6 m cream: - Product characteristics: - Cellacast Xtra bandage - Thin, lightweight and strong synthetic support bandage - Consists of a rigid glass fibre backing - Suitable for immobilisation after fractures, operations and orthopaedic corrections - Also suitable for the treatment of joint and bone disorders and as a longuette to reinforce circular bandages - Dimensions: 10 cm x 3.6 m - Colour: cream - Properties: - Rigid cast dressing - Good layer bonding - Particularly stable due to fibreglass-containing carrier material - Adaptable to any body contour - Air permeable - Radiolucent - Fields of application: - For immobilisation after fractures, operations and orthopaedic corrections as well as for the treatment of joint and bone diseases. - Remarks: - Can be cut to size when not cured - Can be applied with standard examination gloves - Setting time of 2.5 - 5 minutes after activation with water - Loadable after 30 minutes - Recommended immersion water temperature: 20 - 24°C - Product composition: - Glass fibre knitted fabric impregnated with polyurethane resin Source: Manufacturer's data, as at: 08/2020
