Zinc Citrate 30 is a food supplement containing zinc in the organic citrate compound. Zinc plays an important role in various basic processes in the body, such as cell division, DNA-synthesis, fat and protein metabolism, immune function and protection against oxidative stress. In addition, zinc is important for the maintenance of bones, skin, hair and nails, as well as for fertility and a normal testosterone balance in the blood. Each capsule contains 30 mg of zinc and is recommended to be taken every 2 days. It is recommended to limit intake to a few weeks or months. The product is stored at room temperature in a dry place away from light. It is gluten-free and lactose-free. The nutritional declaration states that each capsule contains 15 mg of zinc and 33 mg of citrates. The nutrient reference values according to EU-regulation are also given. The ingredients of the food supplement include calcium carbonate, zinc citrate and the capsule shell of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. The food supplement is manufactured by NICApur GmbH & Co KG in Austria. The recommended daily intake indicated must not be exceeded.
