Perio Plus+ Balance is a mouthwash specifically developed to reduce the risk of tooth decay and gingivitis in various areas of use.It is particularly suitable for wearers of orthodontic devices, for treatment-related dry mouth and for motor restrictions.This mouthwash is suitable for long-term use.

Ingredients and mode of action

Perio Plus+ Balance contains chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX) in a concentration of 0.05%. CHX is a proven active ingredient in dentistry that has been used to control bacteria for almost seventy years.In addition, the mouthwash contains natural bioflavonoids that are extracted from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and are referred to as CITROX®.

The bioflavonoids of CITROX® themselves have a strong antibacterial effect and support the effect of CHX.This combination of CITROX® and CHXdigluconate ensures a particularly strong antibacterial effect. CITROX® is a natural bioflavonoid extract that has strong effects against bacteria, viruses and fungi.To ensure a long-term effect, CITROX® is linked to the natural amino acid polylysine, which forms the CITROX® /P complex.

Perio Plus+ Balance also contains sodium fluoride, which contributes to additional prevention of tooth decay during long-term use.The copolymer PVP-VA forms a strong protective film on teeth, gums and oral mucosa, especially to protect surgical sutures.Some Perio Plus+ products also contain hyaluronic acid, which regulates moisture, promotes cell growth and accelerates regeneration.
