Chlorhexidine has been used in dentistry for almost seventy years because it has been proven to be effective.In addition to chlorhexidine digluconate, Perio plus contains natural bioflavonoids that are extracted from the bitter orange (Citrus aurantium amara) and are called Citrox®.

Area of application

The Curaprox Perio Plus+ Focus tooth gel can be applied precisely and adheres well and pleasantly to the gums.It is particularly effective for inflammation of implants and dentures as well as periodontitis and peri-implantitis.The hyaluronic acid it contains promotes tissue renewal.

Mode of action

The bioflavonoids from Citrox® have a strong antibacterial effect and, in combination with chlorhexidine, increase the antibacterial effect.The Citrox®/P complex consists of the natural bioflavonoid extract of bitter orange and the amino acid polylysine, which ensures a long-term effect.Thanks to Citrox® and a specially developed aroma, Perio plus tastes good and does not irritate the sense of taste.The hyaluronic acid it contains regulates moisture, promotes cell growth and accelerates regeneration, especially after operations.

PVP-VA for an extra strong protective film on mucosa and teeth.Without alcohol.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, this product should not be used.Keep away from children.

Dosage

Directions for use: Use twice daily.Dab a little gel onto the affected area with your finger or toothbrush in the morning and evening for three to seven days.

Patient information

Only use Perio plus or other CHX-rinses if recommended by your dentist.Normally you do not need this product; a toothbrush and interdental brush are sufficient.For use, follow the instructions of your dental professional.

Notes

Tips against discoloration: Avoid tobacco, coffee, black and green tea, red wine, berries, curry and saffron during therapy.This keeps the discoloration to a minimum.Clean well with a toothbrush, possibly use a whitening toothpaste.The discoloration can be easily removed by dental professionals.
