DOBENDAN Direct Flurbiprofen Spray Honey & Lemon 8.75 mg is a spray for the short symptomatic treatment of acute sore throat in adults. The active ingredient flurbiprofen belongs to a group of anti-inflammatory medicines and acts on pain, swelling and raised temperature. The spray is used to relieve inflammation of the throat mucosa, pain, swelling and difficulty swallowing. It should only be used in adults. The recommended dosage is 3 sprays into the back of the throat every 3-6 hours, but not more than 5 doses in 24 hours. It is applied by spraying into the back of the throat without inhaling. The spray should only be used for a short period of time, usually no longer than 3 days. If irritation occurs, the treatment should be discontinued. No further sprays should be taken during use. Storage should be at room temperature and the spray should not be used for longer than 6 months after opening. The package leaflet contains further important information on risks and side effects.
