Orthomol chondroplus combipack is a food supplement that contains vitamin C and contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage and bone function. It has a fresh orange flavour and is available as a convenient daily portion sachet. The product is lactose- and gluten-free. Vitamin D, vitamin K, vitamin C, magnesium, manganese and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium. Vitamin D, calcium and magnesium contribute to the maintenance of normal muscle function. Manganese contributes to normal connective tissue formation. Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissue. Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, hyaluronic acid and collagen are present as components in normal cartilage tissue and synovial fluid respectively. The recommended intake is to take the contents of one sachet daily with 150-200 ml of water. I have osteoarthritis in my wrist as a result of an accident, and Orthomol Arthroplus has significantly reduced the pain. However, I really have to take it permanently, I stopped after 2 months and the pain came back.
