Mode of action

Vagisan lactic acid vaginal suppositories contain a lactic acid-sodium lactate mixture that helps maintain and restore a natural acid value (pH value) in the vagina.The normal pH value of the vagina is 3.8 to 4.4.The suppositories promote the growth of beneficial lactic acid bacteria and counteract vaginal infections.They are suitable for use in the vagina and can also be used during pregnancy.They are also free of heat-sensitive fatty substances.

Application

The duration of use is generally 5-7 days, known as a “lactic acid cure”.Vagisan lactic acid is well tolerated and can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.If you are prone to repeated vaginal infections, long-term treatment is possible; it is then used 2-3 times a week.

Intake
