Ampuwa is a solvent for the preparation of parenteral medicines and is used as water for injections.It is used to dissolve or dilute medicines to be given as an injection or infusion.No prescription is required for this product.

Ampuwa is used as a solvent for medicines administered by injection or infusion.It is used in accordance with the information in the instructions for use of the added medicine.

Important notes

Ampuwa must not be administered without the addition of medication because it is hypotonic and there is a risk of hemolysis.Only clear and colorless solutions in undamaged containers should be used.If you use Ampuwa with other medicines, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist.The risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding depend on the type of drug added.

Application

Ampuwa is administered as an injection or infusion after preparing a ready-to-use medicinal preparation.The dosage and duration of use depend on the information for the medication to be dissolved or diluted.When administering larger quantities, the electrolyte and water balance must be taken into account.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.Ampuwa is only intended for one-time withdrawal.
