Description of the Sterican insulin disposable cannula
The Sterican insulin disposable cannula with the size 26 G x 1/2, i.e. a diameter of 0.45 mm and a length of 12 mm, is a sterile disposable cannula that was specially developed for gentle insulin injection.It is available in a brown color and is suitable for use with injectable and Omnifix insulin syringes.
Properties and materials
The cannula is made of stainless chrome-nickel steel and has an extremely smooth surface that has a finely dosed silicone coating.The transparent Luer lock plastic connector is made of polypropylene (PP).The disposable cannula is latex-free, PVC--free and DEHP--free.It complies with standards EN ISO 7864:1995 and EN ISO 13485:2003.
A special feature is the special faceted long grind, which enables a painless puncture.The cannula is color coded according to ISO 6009, which allows for easy identification.The pack contains 100 pieces of these disposable cannulas.
