Instructions for use for the Ratiomed glass vacuum bottle

The Ratiomed glass vacuum bottle is a special container made of pharmaceutical glass.It has a tightly lockable special latex stopper made of dry natural rubber, a riser tube made of polypropylene, a combination cap and an DIN-security tag hanger.The bottle label has a scale on it, but this is only intended as a guide.

The vacuum bottle is sterilized, evacuated and tested for sterility and freedom from pyrogens in accordance with Ph. Eur.It serves as a collection container and does not contain any anticoagulant.The moisture drops in the bottle are made of sterile water added for sterilization.The inside of the bottle is sterile, but not the surface of the latex stopper under the combination cap.This product is intended for single use.Reuse may pose a risk to the patient or infection and compromises the integrity of the medical device.

Areas of application

The vacuum bottle is used as part of ozone-oxygen or HOT-therapy to temporarily absorb your own blood.It is also suitable for reinfusion and bloodletting.

Safety instructions

The container must not be pressurized as it is made of glass.The stopper is made of natural rubber.The legal regulations and the instructions from the device manufacturers must be observed.No statements can be made regarding the interaction of ozone/oxygen with the products.

Application instructions

Before use, the vacuum bottle should be checked for integrity and any transport damage, for example by visual inspection and sound.

1. After removing the combination cap, the latex stopper should always be disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant.

2. Depending on the area of application, the manufacturer's instructions for use or the legal regulations must be strictly observed.

3. Medical rules and regulations must always be adhered to.

4. When using transfusion devices, they must have a metal tip in order to achieve better puncture of the particularly strong latex stopper.Certain device types are recommended.

5. When disposing of the vacuum bottle, the local regulations must be observed.

6. Punctures (injection points): + (plus) for the addition of the ozone/oxygen mixture, O (large circle) for bloodletting (bottle cannula) / transfusion device, o (small circle) for the injection.
