The Veroval® compact wrist blood pressure monitor is a fully automatic device that enables simple and uncomplicated blood pressure measurement on the wrist.It has cardiac arrhythmia detection, which is particularly important for people with high blood pressure.The Comfort Air technology ensures a pleasantly gentle measurement.The large display makes it easier to read the measured values, and a traffic light system enables easy analysis of the measurement results.

Features

The device offers simple and quick blood pressure measurement on the wrist with arrhythmia detection.It has a large display for easy reading of the measured values and a measured value analysis using a traffic light system.It also shows average values of all stored measurements as well as morning and evening blood pressure for the last 7 days.The Comfort Air technology ensures comfortable measuring.The device has been awarded the quality seal of the European Society for Hypertension (ESH), which confirms high measurement quality.

The scope of delivery includes a storage box, two 1.5V AAA-batteries and 200 memory spaces (100 memory spaces each for two users).

Application

The device is intended exclusively for measuring blood pressure on the human wrist.The cuff should not be placed on other parts of the body.It is important to only use the device on people with the wrist circumference range specified for the device.If the measured values are doubtful, the measurement should be repeated.

The measurement should be carried out in a quiet place in a relaxed and comfortable sitting position.It is recommended to take the measurement on the left wrist.In the long term, measurements should be taken on the wrist that shows the higher results.If there are significant differences between the wrist values, you should consult with a doctor about which wrist should be used for the measurement.

You should rest for about 5 minutes before measuring.Nicotine and coffee should be avoided for up to one hour before the measurement.A strong urge to urinate can also influence the measurement results.You should not move or speak during the measurement.You should wait at least one minute between two measurements to relieve pressure on the vessels.The measurements should be documented with the date, time and medications taken.Regular measurements at the same time are important for a meaningful assessment of blood pressure values.

The device should never be left unattended near small children and people who cannot operate it alone.Blood pressure measurements should not be performed on newborns, babies and young children.The cuff should not be placed over a wound and should not be used on anyone who has had a mastectomy.The pressure buildup of the cuff can cause temporary malfunctions of medical devices on the same arm.The device should not be used in conjunction with a high-frequency surgical device.If an intravenous treatment or venous access is being performed on the arm, the cuff should not be placed on that arm.

The device is not waterproof and is made of high quality precision electronic parts.The cuff should not be excessively bent or kinked.The device may not be opened, modified or repaired yourself.Repairs should only be carried out by authorized specialists.The device should not be used near strong electromagnetic fields and should be kept away from radio systems or cell phones.

The device should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.The cuff can be carefully cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and mild soapy water.It must not be completely submerged in water.It is recommended to clean and disinfect the cuff regularly, especially when used by multiple users.To protect it from external influences, the device should be stored in the storage box.

Storage

The device should be protected from strong shocks, impacts or vibrations.It should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust or direct sunlight.Packaging, batteries and device should be kept out of the reach of children.When storing the device and cuff, do not allow heavy objects to stand on them.The batteries should be removed.
