The boso medicus X blood pressure monitor is a fully automatic device for measuring the upper arm.It provides precise blood pressure measurement that is clinically validated and has an averaging function to assess blood pressure according to World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines.The device also detects cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and saves up to 30 measurements for a 14-day profile.The standard cuff fits arm circumferences from 22 to 32 cm, and an optional XL-cuff can be connected for arm circumferences from 32 to 48 cm.The device comes with alkaline batteries and offers a 3-year quality guarantee.

Dosage

To use the boso medicus X blood pressure monitor, place the cuff on your bare upper arm.The mark on the cuff should be on the artery of the upper arm.Tighten the cuff so that one or two fingers fit between the arm and the cuff.

Application

To take the measurement, take a comfortable sitting position and relax for five minutes before starting.Measure blood pressure first on both arms and then always on the arm whose blood pressure value is higher.Allow at least two minutes to pass between two measurements.It is important that the blood pressure monitor is at heart level during the measurement in order to obtain correct values.
