The Vasofix Safety Cannula 22 G 0.9X25 mm Blue is a safety venous cannula that was specifically developed to reduce needlestick injuries and the associated risk of infection.It has an integrated injection port that allows medication to be administered quickly without having to puncture again.

Product features

The cannula is equipped with a FEP or polyurethane catheter, which ensures placement that is gentle on the veins and an indwelling period without complications.The atraumatic cannula tip with 3-facet grind geometry ensures excellent puncture properties.The cannula also has four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips, a hydrophobic blood catcher stopper and a removable locking cone.It is latex and PVC-free and complies with the ISO-standard 10.555-1/5.

Security features

The Vasofix Safety cannula has a self-activating clip technology that secures the needle tip immediately after it is pulled out.This safety clip prevents further usability and cannot be bypassed.User habits only need to be adjusted slightly.
