The Vasofix Safety Cannula 18 G 1.3X33 mm is an indwelling safety venous cannula with an injection port.It is specifically designed to reduce the risk of needlestick injuries and associated infections.The cannula has a FEP or polyurethane catheter, which allows for placement that is gentle on the veins and an indwelling period without complications.

Product features

The Vasofix Safety Cannula 18 G 1.3X33 mm is available in green with a white ring.It has an atraumatic cannula tip with a 3-facet grind geometry that offers excellent puncture properties.The catheter contains four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips.The cannula also has a hydrophobic blood catcher stopper and a removable locking cone.The cannula is latex and PVC-free and complies with the ISO-standard 10.555-1/5.

Security features

The cannula is equipped with a self-activating clip technology that secures the needle tip immediately after it is pulled out.This safety clip prevents the cannula from being used any further and cannot be bypassed.The application requires only minor adjustments to user habits.
