Tea tree oil - instructions for use

Tea tree oil is a mood-enhancing and strengthening essential oil.It is obtained from the leaves of the plant Melaleuca alternifolia, which belongs to the myrtle family.The plant originally comes from Australia and the oil is extracted using steam distillation.

Application

Tea tree oil should always be used diluted for aromatic care of the skin.A typical application is to add 3-4 drops of tea tree oil to 50 ml of almond oil for a soothing aromatic massage.The oil can also be used pure on small areas of skin, for example after an insect bite.For larger areas of skin, we recommend moistening a cotton ball with a little water or almond oil and drizzling a few drops of tea tree oil on it.The herbaceous scent of tea tree oil can be mixed well with other essential oils such as lemon, orange or lemongrass to aromatize the room air.

Ingredients

The main components of tea tree oil are Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil, Limonene and Linalool.Essential oils are made up of a variety of individual components.Substances such as limonene and linalool are natural components of the essential oil and are not added.However, they are one of the 26 allergenic fragrances that must be declared and must therefore be reported separately as some people can react allergically to individual ingredients.All products are free of synthetic substances.
