Neocate Infant is a fully balanced elementary diet based on non-allergenic amino acids that does not contain any cow's milk protein.This dietary food for special medical purposes has been specially developed for infants from 0 to 12 months and is suitable for exclusive and complementary nutrition.It is free of milk, soy and chicken protein, gluten-free, lactose-free and sucrose-free.

Area of application

Neocate Infant is particularly suitable for infants with cow's milk allergy, multiple food allergies or other diseases that require an elementary diet based on non-allergenic amino acids.It contains long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LC-PUFA) and should only be used under medical supervision.

Per 100 g of Neocate Infant powder, the product contains 2020 kJ / 483 kcal energy, 24.5 g fat (of which 8.9 g saturated fatty acids, 9.6 g monounsaturated fatty acids and 4.8 g polyunsaturated fatty acids), 52.5 g carbohydrates (of which 4.7 g sugar), 13.0 g protein equivalents and 0.47 g salt.It also contains various vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Application and dosage

The total daily amount of Neocate Infant is determined by the attending physician and depends on the age, body weight and clinical condition of the infant.To prepare, 13.8 g of powder (3 scoops) are mixed with 90 ml of drinking water to obtain 100 ml of ready-to-drink food.You can start with a lower concentration and slowly increase it to standard resolution.Infant formula powders are not sterile, so any formula should be freshly prepared and fed within an hour.Leftovers should be discarded and food should not be reheated.

Storage

Neocate Infant should be stored in a cool, dry place.After opening the can, close it tightly again and use the contents within one month.The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere.
