Aptamil Prematil Powder is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for premature babies from 1,000 g to approx. 1,800 g. It can be used to feed the baby alone. The dosage is based on the doctor's recommendation depending on the weight of the baby. The average drinking quantity is usually 150-170 ml/kg body weight and day, divided into 6-12 meals. The powder is mixed with water in a certain amount, depending on the ready-to-drink food. The preparation should be done according to the instructions for use, the food freshly prepared before each meal and fed immediately. Opened cans should be used up within 3 weeks. Aptamil Prematil contains essential nutrients and has a high energy density and protein:energy ratio. It contains, among other things, lactose, glucose syrup, vegetable oils, whey protein, milk fat, fish oil and various vitamins and minerals.
