Application and dosage

Vagiflor® vaginal suppositories are recommended to support the natural vaginal environment and prevent infections.They are particularly suitable for women who often suffer from vaginal infections.It is easy to use: a vaginal suppository is inserted deep into the vagina every evening before going to bed.

Composition

Each vaginal suppository contains 1 gram of freeze-dried cultures of Lactobacillus acidophilus with 107-108 viable germs per gram. The excipients include hard fat, lactose monohydrate and magnesium stearate.

Storage

During the usual period of use of 6 days, the vaginal suppositories can be stored at room temperature.However, a refrigerator is required for longer storage as these are natural lactic acid bacteria that could otherwise die.

Side effects

In rare cases, burning and itching in the vagina may occur when using Vagiflor® vaginal suppositories.

Interactions

If Vagiflor® and condoms are used at the same time, the tear resistance of the condoms may be reduced, which can affect safety.
