Horsetail tea is a natural remedy made from horsetail herb.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Horsetail tea can be used both internally and externally.It is used internally for existing edema and those that occur after injuries, to flush the urinary tract and for kidney grit.Externally, it supports the treatment of poorly healing wounds.

Composition

The active ingredient in horsetail tea is horsetail herb.The plant mainly contains silica, potassium salts and flavonoids.These ingredients work together to promote wound healing, especially of the skin and bones.The flavonoids also show a diuretic effect in animal experiments.

Type of application

Horsetail tea can be used for drinking and poultices after making a tea infusion.For internal use, it is recommended to drink a cup of the tea infusion three times a day.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over two teaspoons (approx. 2 g) of horsetail tea and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer after about 10-15 minutes.For envelopes, approx. 10 g per 1 liter of water is required.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, one cup of the tea infusion is drunk three times a day.For envelopes, approx. 10 g per 1 liter of water is required.There are no known symptoms of overdose.If in doubt, contact your doctor.

Contraindications
