Omnican 40 is a disposable insulin syringe, specifically for U40 insulin, with an integrated cannula.The syringe is intended for subcutaneous insulin injections and has a volume of 1 ml. It is individually packaged and available in two different cannula lengths: 8 mm and 12 mm with a diameter of 0.30 mm.

Properties

The Omnican 40 insulin syringe has a graduation of 1 I.U., which enables precise dosing.The large, easy-to-read scale makes handling easier.The needle is manufactured using thin-wall technology (according to EN ISO 9626:2001) and has an extremely fine 3-facet cut and a special silicone coating.Protective caps at the ends of the syringe ensure its sterility.The highly transparent barrel of the syringe allows air bubbles to be easily identified.The piston is equipped with a double sealing ring and has an integrated piston stop.The round cylindrical shape with black graduations is another feature of the syringe.The materials used are PP, PS, IR, PE, stainless steel and silicone oil.The syringe is latex free, PVC-free and DEHP-free.The available sizes are 30G x 8mm and 30G x 12mm.The dead volume is 0.4 µL for the 8 mm version and 0.5 µL for the 12 mm version.The sales units include 100 pieces individually packaged or 10 x 10 syringes in a polybag.The syringe meets the requirements of EN ISO 8537:2008.
