Instructions for use for the article Pantostin

Pantostin is a solution with the active ingredient alfatradiol, which is used to increase the reduced anagen hair rate in mild androgenetic alopecia, i.e. hormonal hair loss, in men and women.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Pantostin must not be used if you are allergic to alfatradiol or any of the other ingredients.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Pantostin.There is no experience with people under 18 years of age.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.There are currently no known interactions.There is no specific experience with use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so Pantostin should not be used in these cases.

Application

Pantostin is applied to the affected areas of the scalp once a day, preferably in the evening, using the scalp applicator provided.The recommended dose is 3 ml. Once hair loss has improved, use can be reduced to every second to third day.Improvement can only be expected after a month at the earliest.Use for longer than one year should only be carried out after consulting a doctor.

Side effects

Due to the alcohol content, there may be a short-term burning sensation, rash, redness or itching on the scalp.The scalp may become greasier or drier during use.If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

Pantostin contains the active ingredient alfatradiol in a concentration of 0.25 mg per ml. The other ingredients are propan-2-ol, glycerol 85%, myo-inositol and purified water.

Storage

Keep Pantostin out of the reach of children and do not use it after the expiration date stated on the label.This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
