Mowivit Vitamin E 1000 capsules is a vitamin preparation that is used to treat vitamin E deficiency.The active ingredient in these capsules is RRR-alpha-tocopherol.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Mowivit Vitamin E 1000 capsules are used to treat vitamin E deficiency.However, they are not suitable for treating vitamin E deficiencies, which are associated with impaired absorption of vitamin E from the intestine.In such cases, parenteral preparations (injection solutions) are available.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each soft capsule contains 671.37 mg RRR-alpha-tocopherol, which is contained in a distillate of vegetable oil.The capsule also contains soybean oil, gelatin, glycerol 85%, sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallizing) and purified water.

Contraindications

Mowivit Vitamin E 1000 capsules must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to vitamin E, soy, peanuts or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.

Dosage and application

Always take Mowivit Vitamin E 1000 capsules exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose for adults is one soft capsule daily.The soft capsules should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of drinking water.The duration of use depends on the course of the underlying disease and should be discussed with your doctor.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Mowivit Vitamin E 1000 capsules can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Long-term use of doses above 400 mg RRR-alpha-tocopherol per day may result in a reduction in thyroid hormone levels in the blood.Very rarely, gastrointestinal problems can occur with high doses.Soybean oil can very rarely cause allergic reactions.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

During pregnancy you should consume 13 mg of vitamin E daily.Vitamin E crosses the placenta and so far no damage has been observed in the unborn child.If you are breastfeeding, you should consume 17 mg of vitamin E daily, as vitamin E passes into breast milk.

Storage

Store Mowivit Vitamin E 1000 capsules in the original packaging to protect the contents from light.The medicine must be kept out of the reach of children and must not be used after the expiry date stated on the package.
