In addition to their use in interim prostheses, the adhesive pads have also proven effective in cases of severe jaw regression, particularly in the lower jaw.They are particularly useful if the jaw is very narrow or severely flattened.For wearers of full dentures with extreme adhesion problems, Protefix adhesive pads can often be the last resort when nothing else will hold.

Application

Step 1: For small dentures, cut the padding to size using scissors.Then immerse the cushion in lukewarm water for 10 seconds and let it drain.

Step 2: Place padding on the moistened denture.The back 2 mm must remain uncovered.Press the padding with both thumbs, starting in the middle, until it fits smoothly all over.

Important notes

Use only on healthy mucous membranes.For hygiene reasons, the Protefix adhesive pad must be changed at least once a day.Do not use after the expiry date.The use of adhesive pads should only be temporary.Have the fit of your prosthesis checked regularly.
