Euphorbium Comp. SN Drops are a homeopathic medicine used for diseases of the upper respiratory tract.The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic medicines and include chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (sinusitis) and tubal catarrh.No prescription is required for this product.

Composition

10 g (equivalent to 10.5 ml) of the drops contain the following active ingredients: Luffa operculata Dil.D6, Hepar sulfuris Dil.D10, Hydrargyrum biiodatum Dil.D8, Argentum nitricum Dil.D10, Euphorbium Dil.D3 and Pulsatilla pratensis Dil.D2.Each of these active ingredients is contained in an amount of 0.1 g.Components 1 to 4 are potentiated together with ethanol 43% (m/m) via the last potentization stage.The other ingredients included are ethanol 94% (m/m) and purified water.

Dosage and method of administration

The usual dosage is 10 drops three times a day.For acute symptoms, the drops can be taken every half to an hour up to 12 times a day.Children receive an adjusted dosage after consulting their doctor.Small children aged 1 to 6 years take 5 drops three times a day, or for acute symptoms, 5 drops every half to an hour up to 12 times a day.Schoolchildren aged 6 to 12 years take 7 drops three times a day, and for acute symptoms, 7 drops every half to an hour up to 12 times a day.Children aged 12 and over receive the same dosage as adults.

The drops can be taken mixed with a little liquid.To improve the effect, the drops should be kept in the mouth for as long as possible.

Duration of treatment

Homeopathic medicines should also not be used for long periods of time without medical advice.Do not take a double dose if you forget the previous dose.If you have any further questions about using the medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The expiry date of this pack is printed on the container and outer packaging.Do not use this pack after this date.This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.

If you have thyroid disease, the medicine should not be used without medical advice.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Like all medicines, homeopathic medicines should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.There is no adequately documented experience with the use of this medicine in infants.It should therefore not be used in infants.

If you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor.When taking the medication, the symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation).In this case, you should stop taking it and consult a doctor.
