OPSITE Post-OP is a special wound dressing for postoperative care.It has a particularly absorbent wound pad that effectively absorbs liquids.The dressing's bacteria-proof film protects the wound from penetration by external germs, including resistant pathogens such as MRSA, thereby preventing secondary infections.The transparent and waterproof film allows the patient to shower without having to remove the bandage.

The dressing's high water vapor permeability minimizes moisture accumulation, reducing the risk of skin maceration.The skin-friendly adhesive reduces the risk of skin irritation, and the grid-shaped adhesive application ensures that the bandage can be removed painlessly.The elasticity of the film also reduces the risk of tension bubbles.

Areas of application

OPSITE Post-OP is suitable for postoperative wounds with weak to moderate exudation, for example after orthopedic operations such as hip, knee, shoulder and spine operations, after cardiac and thoracic operations and gynecological procedures.The bandage can also be used for lacerations, cuts and abrasions.

This postoperative wound dressing combines the advantages of the OpSite film with an absorbent wound pad and is therefore an excellent dressing for a variety of wound types. Areas of application include the care of postoperative wounds and accident wounds as well as small cuts and lacerations.
