Application and dosage

Spenglersan Colloid K should always be used according to the instructions in the package insert.If you are unsure, you can ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

For adults, the prescribed number of sprays is sprayed into the crook of the elbow and rubbed into the skin with the ball of the thumb.The prescribed amount can be sprayed on in portions and rubbed in.

For children and infants, the prescribed number of sprays is sprayed onto the child's abdominal skin and rubbed in with the child's forearm.

When using several Spenglersan® colloids, they should be applied at least 2 hours apart or alternated daily.The bottle should be held vertically when spraying and used several times before using it for the first time until a fine mist comes out.

In acute conditions, adults and children aged 12 and over can rub 5 sprays into the crook of the elbow every half to an hour, up to a maximum of 6 times a day.In chronic forms, 5 sprays can be rubbed into the crook of the elbow 1-3 times a day.

Storage

Spenglersan Colloid K should be kept out of the reach of children and not stored above 25°C.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the label.

The active ingredients in Spenglersan Colloid K are:

Antigens from Staphylococcus aureus subsp.aureus Spengler ad usum externum Dil.D9 (HAB, regulation 58a) 1.67 g, antitoxins from Staphylococcus aureus subsp.aureus Spengler ad usum externum Dil.D9 (HAB, regulation 58b) 1.67 g, antigens from Streptococcus pneumoniae subsp.pneumonia Spengler ad usum externum Dil.D9 (HAB, regulation 58a) 3.33 g, antitoxins from Streptococcus pneumoniae subsp.pneumonia Spengler ad usum externum Dil.D9 (HAB, regulation 58b) 3.33 g together raised to the power over 8 levels.

Other ingredients are thymol and hydrochloric acid 25% (m/V).1 spray corresponds to 1 drop.
