Instructions for use of Echinacea compositum SN, dilution for injection

Echinacea compositum SN is a liquid dilution for injection and a homeopathic medicine.It is registered, therefore no specific therapeutic indication is given.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

This homeopathic medicine is used to stimulate the body's defenses against fever and inflammation.It can be used for flu as well as for inflammation of the tonsils, sinuses, oral mucosa, stomach mucosa and intestines, for middle ear infections and for boils and other skin diseases.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or excipients, to the daisy family or to the poisonous sumac plants.

Precautions for use

If symptoms worsen or new, unclear or persistent symptoms occur, you should consult a doctor.Use is not recommended in advanced systemic diseases such as tuberculosis or sarcoidosis, systemic diseases of the white blood cell system such as leukemia, autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, immunodeficiency such as AIDS/HIV-infection or immunosuppression after organ or bone marrow transplantation.

Patients with atopic diseases such as neurodermatitis, allergic asthma or hay fever may be at increased risk of allergic reactions.Therefore, the medicine should only be used by patients with atopic diseases after consulting their doctor.

The use of Echinacea compositum SN in children under 1 year of age is not recommended.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Echinacea compositum SN can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Salivation may occur after use;the drug must then be discontinued.Due to the homeopathic active ingredient Hydrargyrum bichloratum, allergic reactions can occasionally occur.
