Instructions for use of LGG capsules

LGG Capsules are a dietary supplement containing freeze-dried live bacteria of the Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG strain.No prescription is required for this product.

Use and consumption recommendations

The recommended dosage is one capsule twice daily, taken with a glass of water or diluted milk with meals.For small children, the capsule can be opened and the contents stirred into cool to lukewarm water, diluted milk or infant formula.It is important that the lactobacilli GG are not stirred into fruit juices, tea, hot foods or drinks above 37 °C in order to maintain their viability.The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.

Nutritional declaration

Per 100 grams of the product it contains 1172 kJ (284 kcal) physiological energy value, 0.9 grams of fat, 11 grams of carbohydrates and 33 grams of protein.Per two capsules this is 6 kJ (1.6 kcal), 0.006 grams of fat, 0.06 grams of carbohydrates and 0.18 grams of protein.It also contains at least 10 billion freeze-dried live germs (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG) per two capsules.

Ingredients

The capsule contents consist of the filler E 460, Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (9%), sucrose, maltodextrin, sodium ascorbate and the anti-caking agent E 470b.The capsule material is composed of gelatin and the dye E 171.

Storage conditions

The capsules should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of +2 to +8 °C.
