Instructions for use for Disci/Viscum comp.cum Argento suppositories

Disci/Viscum comp.cum Argento is an anthroposophical medicine used for spinal diseases and nerve pain.The areas of application include disorders of the erection, movement and shape processes of the entire spine, both in chronic inflammatory and degenerative changes and nerve pain such as intercostal neuralgia, lumbago and Bechterew's disease.

No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to arnica.

Precautions and warnings

If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor should be consulted.There is insufficient experience with use in children under 12 years of age, so the medicine should not be used in this age group.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Like all medicines, Disci/Viscum comp.cum Argento suppositories during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Interactions

To date, there are no known interactions with other agents.

Dosage and application

Unless otherwise prescribed, it is recommended to insert 1 suppository into the rectum twice a week to once or twice a day.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 days, see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be discussed with a doctor.

So far there are no known side effects.

Composition

1 Suppository of 2 g contains the following active ingredients: Argentum metallicum Dil.D18 aquos.2 mg, Arnica montana e planta total ferm 33c Dil.D1 2 mg, Disci intervertebrales cervicales, thoracici et lumbales bovis Gl Dil.D3 2 mg, Formiea rufa ex animale toto Gl Dil.D3 2 mg, Phyllostachys and nodo ferm 35c Dil.D1 2 mg, Pulsatilla vulgaris and floribus ferm 33c Dil.D2 2 mg, Viscum album (Mali) and planta tota ferm 34i Dil.D4 2mg.Components 1, 2 and 5 to 7 are raised to the power together over one level.

Other ingredients include hard fat and honey.

Dosage form and pack size

The medicine is available as suppositories, 10 suppositories of 2 g each.

Storage

Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and the outer packaging.Do not store/keep above 25 °C!
