Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, Kytta pain ointment should not be used.No prescription is required for this product.

Dosage

The Kytta pain ointment should be applied to the affected area and massaged in gently.If there is no improvement after 3-4 days, you should consult a doctor.The duration of treatment is up to 10 days for back pain and blunt injuries in adults and up to 3 weeks for knee osteoarthritis.For children aged 8 and over, the ointment should be used for a maximum of 7 days.

Intake

The pain ointment is intended for use on the skin.It should be applied to the areas of the body to be treated and massaged in carefully.Before applying a bandage, you should wait a few minutes until the ointment is absorbed into the skin.The use of an airtight dressing is not recommended.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when using it in children under 3 years of age as there are no sufficient studies available.Patients with a previous allergy should first test the ointment on a small area, e.g. on the wrist, to see if it is tolerated.If the symptoms do not improve within 3-4 days, you should consult a doctor.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Application

Adults should apply a 6 cm long strand of ointment three to four times a day, depending on the size of the area of the body to be treated and the severity of the symptoms.For acute back pain, a 12 cm long strand of ointment can be applied three times a day.Children aged 8 and over and teenagers should apply a 4-6 cm long strand of ointment two to three times a day, depending on the size of the body area to be treated.The duration of use depends on the symptoms and the underlying disease.For acute muscle pain in the back area, sprains, bruises and strains, one application for 10 days is usually sufficient.In the case of knee osteoarthritis, use for up to 3 weeks may be necessary.Do not use for longer than 1 week in children aged 8 and over and adolescents.
