MotherMates Hydrogel wound dressings are sterile, hydrophilic polyurethane-based hydrogels.They provide a moist environment that is optimal for wound healing.These pads protect against bacterial contamination and prevent the wound from drying out.They also absorb excess moisture and provide cool, pain-relieving protection.

Application

MotherMates hydrogel pads are used for nipple injuries caused by breastfeeding.

Application instructions

Before using the MotherMates pads, wash your hands thoroughly.Open the packaging and peel off the pad from its carrier film.Save the carrier film.Place the cup-shaped side of the pad on the nipple.The contour of the pad fits exactly onto the nipple and into the nursing bra, so no additional fixation is required.

Before breastfeeding, remove the cover and wash the breast with warm water.Then pat the skin dry to create a clean environment for breastfeeding the infant.Rinse the pad with warm water without soaking it and pat it dry.Always place the pad on a clean surface, preferably on the carrier film.For additional cooling and relief, you can store the pad in the refrigerator while breastfeeding.

Place the rinsed pad back on the nipple until the next feeding.
