The Jacutin® nit comb is a specially developed tool for combing out head lice, larvae and nits.It is indispensable in both the diagnosis and treatment of head lice and in check-ups.The fine spacing between the teeth, which is less than 0.2 mm, allows you to remove lice, larvae and stuck-on nits that cannot be removed with a normal comb.The rounded tine ends make the comb scalp-friendly, and its sturdy flat handle allows for even guidance on the scalp.

Application: Diagnosis

1. Wash hair with regular shampoo.

2. Apply a hair conditioner to damp hair to smooth it.

3. Comb the hair strand by strand from the scalp to the ends of the hair, starting with a regular comb with coarser teeth.

4. As soon as the coarser comb glides through the hair without pulling, switch to the Jacutin® nit comb.Place the teeth close to the scalp and pull the comb down to the ends of the hair, stroke by stroke.

5. Make sure the lighting is good and separate strands with hair ties or clips.

6. With each stroke, carefully inspect the comb for lice by wiping the teeth on a white paper towel or towel.

7. A reading magnifying glass can help you see the lice better.

8. Remove the lice, larvae and nits from the lice comb with hot water.

9. Finally, rinse the hair with water.

Short hair: approx. 10 minutes

Long hair: approx. 30 minutes

Treatment with the Jacutin® nit comb

The Jacutin® nit comb can be used in combination with Jacutin® Pedicul Fluid to treat head lice.
