Why must NYDA® lice spray be used on dry hair?

NYDA® Lice Spray fights head lice and their eggs by penetrating their breathing openings and closing them, causing suffocation.Since water has a higher surface tension than NYDA® lice spray, it cannot penetrate the head lice's respiratory system.If NYDA® lice spray is used on wet hair, the product dilutes and can no longer develop its effect.Successful treatment can therefore only be guaranteed when used on dry hair.

Is poor hygiene the reason for lice?

Unfortunately, many people believe that lice are a sign of a lack of cleanliness.However, the lice don't care whether the hair is freshly washed or greasy.They spread through direct hair-to-hair contact.This happens regardless of the hygiene condition of the hair.However, the rumor means that those affected are ashamed of the fact that head lice have appeared in the family and do not report the infestation at all or report it too late.This allows the small parasites to spread even further.

Can head lice survive in clothing, bedding and towels?

Application

NYDA® Lice spray is used on dry hair.Spray NYDA® lice spray onto the hairline and massage the lice treatment in thoroughly until the hair is completely wetted right down to the tips.After allowing it to act for 10 minutes, comb the hair from the hairline using the enclosed lice comb to remove the dead lice, larvae and nits.After the treatment, wash your hair with a normal shampoo.Repeat the application after 8 to 10 days.The Robert Koch Institute generally recommends repeat treatment after 8 to 10 days for any head lice remedy.

Notes

NYDA® Lice spray must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to the components.If any allergic reactions occur, NYDA® lice spray should be discontinued immediately.

Composition: High and low viscosity dimeticone, medium chain triglycerides, jojoba wax, fragrances (alpha-terpineol and boabo oil).

Area of application

NYDA® Lice Spray is used for the physical treatment of the scalp hair in cases of head lice infestation (Pediculosis capitis).When NYDA® lice spray is used as intended, not only the adult lice but also the juvenile stages (larvae) and the eggs (nits) of the head lice are combated.

Mode of action

NYDA® Lice Spray quickly penetrates all branches of the respiratory system of the lice and larvae as well as the eggs and displaces the oxygen there.This leads to their suffocation.
