What is red copper ointment and what is it used for?

Red copper ointment is an anthroposophical medicine that has a warming effect on abdominal cramps and circulatory problems.The areas of application arise from the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.This includes the harmonization of integration disorders of the heat organism in the circulatory and metabolic-movement systems.This can be helpful for peripheral and venous hypostatic circulatory disorders, cramp-like complaints of the gastrointestinal tract and kidney dysfunction.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The copper ointment red contains the following active ingredients and excipients: 4 mg Cuprum oxydatum rubrum (hom./anthr.), Cuprum oxydulatum rubrum (hom./anthr.), thick paraffin as an excipient and white petroleum jelly as an excipient.

Application and dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The ointment can be rubbed in twice a week to once a day or used as an ointment bandage.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 days, you should consult a doctor.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment must be agreed with the doctor.

No prescription is required for this product.

Storage

Keep this medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not store it above 25°C.Once opened, the ointment has a shelf life of 16 weeks.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and carton.

Patient information

If you have persistent or unclear symptoms, especially persistent pain, paleness, coldness and tingling sensations in the affected limbs, you should consult a doctor immediately.This may indicate a sudden blockage of the supplying blood vessels, which requires emergency intervention.

Like all medicines, the preparation should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

If the skin becomes red and itchy, you should stop using it and consult a doctor.
