Directions for use of the article Parontal F5 med: Parontal F5 med is a traditional medicine used to support the function of the mucous membrane in the mouth and throat. It contains essential oils such as sage oil, mint oil, clove oil, eugenol and thymol. For application, the medicine is diluted in a dosage of 15 to 30 drops to 1/3 glass of lukewarm water and used as a mouth rinse. The duration of use is in principle not limited, but should be discontinued if signs of illness appear. Parontal F5 med should not be used for children under 12 years of age and is also not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. The mouth rinse contains 65% alcohol by volume and should be avoided by alcoholics. The medicine should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Possible side effects are allergic reactions. Parontal F5 med should be stored at room temperature and used within 6 months after opening.
