Paroguard CHX 0.20% is a ready-to-use mouth rinse with chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX) used for daily dental and oral care. The solution also contains a mild fluoridation, the sugar substitute xylitol and witch hazel, a plant from North American Indian medicine. Unlike other solutions, Paroguard CHX does not contain alcohol for greater patient acceptance. This mouth rinse is particularly suitable for preventing bad breath and plaque in hard-to-reach areas. Chlorhexidine helps prevent plaque, xylitol has an anti-caries effect and is pH neutral, and fluoride remineralises the teeth and increases caries resistance. Paroguard CHX 0.20% is easy to use and contains a dosing cap.
