According to the principle of homeopathy, each treatment is carried out with a homeopathic medicine that is individually adapted to the patient. The different medicines can be used for different diseases. A small selection of proven homeopathic medicines that are often used in the treatment of acute complaints includes Aconitum, Allium cepa, Apis mellifica, Arnica, Arsenicum album, Belladonna, Bryonia, Cantharis, Chamomilla, Cocculus, Coffea, Dulcamara, Ferrum phosphoricum, Gelsemium, Ipecacuanha, Ledum, Nux vomica, Okoubaka, Phytolacca, Pulsatilla, Rhus toxicodendron and Thuja. These are registered homeopathic medicines for which no specific therapeutic indications are given.
