Directions for use of the article Sweatosan Tablets Sweatosan, coated tablets. Active substance: dry extract of sage leaves (4-7:1). Indications: Traditional herbal medicinal product for the relief of increased perspiration. Warnings: Contains sucrose (sugar), glucose and lactose. USE INFORMATION: INFORMATION FÜR ANWENDER Sweatosan coated tablets For use in adults Active ingredient: dry extract of sage leaves. What is Sweatosan® and what is it used for? Sweatosan® is a traditional herbal medicinal product. Indications: Traditional herbal medicinal product for the relief of increased perspiration. What should you be aware of before taking Sweatosan®? - Sweatosan® may NICHT be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the medicinally active ingredient sage leaf dry extract or to any of the other ingredients of Sweatosan®. - Particular caution is required when taking Sweatosan® if the symptoms worsen or last longer than 2 weeks. How should Sweatosan® be taken? - The recommended dose for adults is: for day sweats, take 1-2 coated tablets 3 times a day; for night sweats caused by nervousness, take 1-4 coated tablets in the evening. - The coated tablets should be taken unchewed with a little water after meals. - Medicinal products made from sage preparations should not be taken for longer than 2 weeks without medical advice. What are the possible side effects? - Hypersensitivity reactions, also accompanied by shortness of breath (dyspnoea), may occur. - Allergic skin reactions such as reddening of the skin, itching or a skin rash may occur after taking Sweatosan®. 5 How should Sweatosan® be stored? - Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. - Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the container and the outer wrapping. - Do not store above 25 °C.
