My family doctor and the speech therapist had advised or recommended me to use a soother, because the problems I unfortunately have are stuttering palate snoring and sometimes panic attacks at night etc. I need it from a medical point of view, which is not great, but it has to be and almost every night. sucking is a nice side effect. I never had a dummy when I was a child and today I need it strangely, but it helps me a lot. My girlfriend uses this soother to stop her teeth grinding at night. With this soother, my girlfriend sleeps soundly without grinding her teeth - just like a baby ;-) I had to get used to the sight of my girlfriend with the teat in her mouth, but if it's good for her health, it's fine. It has to be said, she actually looks quite cute with the teat.
