Crataegus ad usum vet.
This product is intended for non-food production dogs, cats and horses.No prescription is required for this product.
Crataegus ad usum vet.contains valuable hawthorn ingredients that have a positive effect on the heart.Particularly noteworthy are the oligomeric procyanidins, or OPCs for short.These plant substances contribute significantly to the heart-protective properties of hawthorn extract.Therefore, the proportion of OPCs in Crataegus is ad usum vet.always consistently high.
Areas of application
Traditionally used to support cardiac and circulatory function.The medicine is a traditional medicine that is registered for the area of application solely based on long-term use.
Application
Unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian, the product is used as follows:
Horse: Add 2 ml (40 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Foals: give 1.5 ml (30 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Large dog: give 1 ml (20 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Medium dog: give 0.75 ml (15 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Small dogs, cats: give 0.5 ml (10 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Puppies: give 0.25 ml (5 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Waiting time
Horse: not applicable.The reallocation according to § 56a paragraph 2 AMG to animals that are used for food production is excluded.
Notes
The product contains 44.7% alcohol by volume.Please note the package leaflet.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Other ingredients: Ethanol 96% (V/V), Purified water.
The medicine contains 44.7% alcohol by volume.

Contraindications
Not for use on horses used for food production.
Side effects
The cat may salivate.If you notice any side effects in your pet, especially those not listed in the package leaflet, report them to your veterinarian or pharmacist.

Dosage for each animal species, type and duration of use
Unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian:
Horse: Add 2 ml (40 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Foals: give 1.5 ml (30 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Large dog: give 1 ml (20 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.
Medium dog: give 0.75 ml (15 drops) 3 to 5 times daily.

Special storage instructions
Keep medicines out of the reach of children.Do not store above 30°C.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the container and outer packaging.The shelf life of Crataegus ad usum vet.after opening the container is 3 months.Any residue of the medication remaining in the container must be discarded after the expiry date has expired.
Special warnings
If the symptoms of the disease persist for more than 6 weeks, if there is shortness of breath or swelling of the legs, a veterinarian should be consulted.
Special precautions for use
If symptoms of the disease persist or if side effects other than those mentioned in the package leaflet occur, a veterinarian or other qualified person working in a medical profession should be consulted.In the case of heart failure requiring digitalis, Crataegus is ad usum vet.not sufficient for treatment alone.
Use during pregnancy, lactation or laying
There is no corresponding information available about the target animal species.Use during pregnancy and lactation should therefore only be carried out after a benefit/risk assessment by the veterinarian.
