The Vasofix Braunüle is an indwelling venous cannula with an integrated injection port and an FEP-catheter.The catheter material made from FEP ensures placement that is painless and gentle on the veins.The integrated injection port allows medication to be administered quickly without having to puncture again.The cannula has excellent puncture properties thanks to an atraumatic cannula tip with a 3-facet cut geometry.
The catheter has four fully embedded X-ray contrast strips, which ensure better visibility in the X-ray image.A hydrophobic blood catcher plug is also integrated to prevent blood from escaping.The brown tube has a removable locking cone and a locking attachment.The sizes are color-coded, which makes handling easier.The product is both latex and PVC-free and complies with the ISO-standard 10.555-1/5.
