Combined effect of cranberry extract and lactic acid bacteria

Lacto Lady® is a product that contains cranberry extract as well as four different strains of lactobacteria and bifidobacteria.These lactic acid bacteria are part of the natural bacterial flora in the intestines, vagina and urinary tract.The bacteria contained in Lacto Lady® are naturally resistant to stomach acid.During production, the bacteria are protected with Bio-SupportTM technology, a special protective complex of proteins and polysaccharides.This technology ensures that the bacteria survive during production and storage and reach the intestine alive.There they attach to the intestinal mucosa and form colonies.From the intestinal mucosa they reach the mucous membrane of the urogenital tract via the anus.

Cranberries are known for their high content of flavonoids such as anthocyanin and proanthocyanidins (PACs), which are responsible for the red color of the berries.The proanthocyanidins contained in cranberries can prevent E. coli bacteria from attaching to the bladder wall, causing them to be flushed out with the urine.

Ingredients and dosage

Two tablets of Lacto Lady® daily contain live lactic acid bacteria in an amount of 1 billion colony forming units (CFU) at the time of manufacture.These include the strains Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Bifidobacterium longum.It also contains 800 mg of cranberry extract, including 36 mg of proanthocyanidins.

Notes

The product is free of sugar, gluten, gelatin, yeast and lactose.Cranberry products can influence the effect of anticoagulants.
